About
For nearly a decade within the higher education industry, I've amplified the transformative work of researchers in engineering, science, and health by crafting stories and strategies that highlight impact and share how research is shaping our world now and into the future. I have honed my writing expertise through developing a variety of materials in support of communications goals, including grant proposals, magazine and web articles, press releases, newsletters, briefing notes and reports, to name a few. Over the past few years, I've grown my experience in web content layout and strategy as well, gaining a deeper understanding of web accessibility and the user experience. 

My education background includes a Master of Arts in Communications and Technology from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Applied Communications in Professional Writing from MacEwan University. I am also a Certified Digital Marketing Professional through the Digital Marketing Institute and have taken courses covering HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and web accessibility.
